Building a 3-D room

I'd like to get more into AE's 3-D capabilities and have an idea to animate some text in a "room"

More or less a space with a floor that text could reflect off and back and side walls for shadows.

Having a hard time getting started with a look I want.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good source of turtorials/info on this type of project
