You need to instal a plug-in to log & Transfer 7D footage. Go to Cannon official site: http://usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/slr_cameras/eos_7d#Driv...

and set the Operating System to Mac OS X and select Software. Download the EOS MOvie Plugin-E1 for Final Cut Pro.
