Hi Chris,
1080i/24p it doesn't exist.
1080pA24 yes.
That's the capture setup you need.
In camera, the p24 stuff is recorded with added pulldown as i60.
When you capture with Firewire FC removes that pulldown.
You end up with 1080p24 in your HD.
