Soundtrack Pro, saving files, recommended location?
by Tom Fuldner on Nov 2, 2009 at 3:32:29 am

I'm not the FCP hot shot I wish I was. When I export from FCP7 to STP, I'm never quite sure of the appropriate location to send the "sent" file. I sometimes check the box that suggests "Save project with latest clip metadata," but that doesn't tell me where that is.

I've been saving project files in the "documents" folder of my system drive, but using a second internal hard drive for my scratch directories. Where should I save stap and stmp project files? Inside the capture scratch folder on the second drive? In the Final Cut Documents folder on my system drive?

Clueless in Raleigh,

Tom F.
Raleigh, NC
