Hi Jiggy,
You use the Detect Display and set the Display Preferences.
It will works like any other second monitor.
What you get out of the RCA is standard PAL or NTSC, depending of the TV.

Correcting in a TV is the "poor man correction" but better than nothing.
Try to adjust the TV with some bars.
Sure you can not do it like with a monitor, but try your best.
What I used to do is to play DVDs that I made in different TVs and monitors.
This way you discover how your TV is biassed.
My Trinitron was (is) very contrasted and saturated.
If I tried to get a smooth and less punchy picture, I new it would look washed in other TV-computer.
A cheap TV also helps a lot when you are composing graphics, subtitles etc.
