Re: Why is my HDV coming in at 720x480?

Camera is Sony's HVR Z7U

Checked - the Menu says Video Out > COMPONENT > 1080i/480i and within that the 1080i/480i is selected (as opposed to 480i)

There are separate down convert/squeeze settings in the menu area that I have not selected.

In the VCR area everything this is set to HDV.

Not sure what else to do.

Could the Firewire 400 connection possibly have something to do with it?
