That's standard definition. Not High Def.

What you want to do is do an Easy Setup > HDV 1080i/60. This will set up FCP to properly capture and edit your material in native HDV.

Now re-capture your footage and edit.

ProRes is not available for FCP 5.1.4, you need 6.
