Hold Keyframe

Is there a way to make a keyframe a hold keyframe? I've searched this forum, and seems like the phrase is non-existent. I don't get it, so I must be missing something.
I'm trying to keyframe some movement, but I don't want a "slide" in values from keyframe to keyframe, I want it to hold the motion position until the next keyframe, and pop to the new values.
Every program I've used up to now allows you to set the spacial/temporal interpretation of keyframes. FCP seems to allow for bezier adjustments, but I want to set them to hold.. How is this done in FCP?
Thanks!!
