You mention buying an older version of FCP on eBay, then using Apple's upgrade program. Do I need to install the old version, which may not run on my new Macbook Pro, and then reinstall with the new version? Does Apple send a whole new set of discs?

I am not familiar with how the Apple crossgrade program works. Any help?
