Editing in FCP7, setting up project, importing friends footage shot with JVC GZ-HM440RU Everio camera. Footage looks like bad interlacing on playback. Transferred footage using iMovie, transferred to external drive, shot in AVCHD 1080. Screenshot shows the native footage specs.

I'm ready now to edit, all the raw media on a drive, plugged into mac, and importing footage into FCP7, and should I plan on editing native footage and then 'de-interlacing' after edit is done, when exporting? It's a small clip for youtube, so it's not a big deal. Just wanted to see if de-interlacing upon export would be ok.
