From FCP to Avid to Digibeta
by Daniel Sepulveda on Jul 3, 2009 at 9:03:32 pm

Hi,

I have a little problem I hope you can help me with.

I have to deliver 40 episodes of a TV Show. I have al the material ready for export in Final Cut Pro. I need to send the files to place where they are going to print them to digibeta.
My problem is that I have the files in ProRes 422, and they say I need to send the files in a codec supported by Avid (the only system they use). What codec can I use to send it, that will work in Avid, and will not lose too much quality when I export?
Im exporting using compressor.

Thank you very much...
