YouTube now allows Continuous Play Playlists
Many have been frustrated by YouTube's 10 minute (actually 10:59) clip limit when wanting to post long form work there.
You can now create a playlist in YouTube that will link the files together so they will play in sequence with no further action from the viewer. You will have a single URL to the playlist. You must use the playlist URL though. Simply playing the first file in a playlist will not result in continuous play.
In order to enable this feature you need to
create a playlist in your channel
sequence the order of the videos in the playlist
update the channel
You will see the playlist with the Play All button
That will play all the videos in sequence
After the first video starts to play you should note one slight change on the right side options
Playlist - Sopt Autoplaying | Play Next (this allows the viewer to skip to the next video in the playlist
You will also see the title of the video beneath that along with a Randomize check box
Select the title and you will be taken to another window which will have a PlayList URL
It might be easier to show in a tutorial so if/when I have the time and there's interest (is there interest) I'll make a video tutorial.
