DVD to MPEG software

I work in the Video and Media Services department of a Court Reporting Firm. We shoot on DV and recently switched our backup to DVD from VHS. We're looking for a fast professional software for converting the VOB's to MPEG1, for use in legal software. We need to fine tune the output settings, and batch capabilities would be really nice. We checked out Autodesk Cleaner XL, but it no longer supports VOBs as "an acceptable source media." We were able to make the MPEG, which encoded wicked fast and looked great, but had no audio.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
