AE Not Looping RAM Preview
by

Hi gang,
So, this one is a real head-scratcher! When I start AE, my preview panel defaults to having my RAM previews loop when playing, which is exactly what I want. The problems is this: When I create and attempt to playback RAM previews, it will play once, then stop and clear the last 10% of frames from memory. In order to get it to loop properly, I need to cycle through all of the playback options (oscillate, play once, loop) until I finally get it to loop. Once I select loop (even though it was selected at startup), it works properly. I am running CS4 on a Mac Pro. In speaking with a colleague, he used to have the problem on CS3. No one else in my company is having this issue.
Any and all insights would be greatly appreciated, as this is REALLY annoying.
Thanks!
