could be a couple things.

1. restart your computer
2. delete prefs (FCP)
3. check your render settins in final cut, and make sure your frame rate is correct.

4. open the video with quicktime and hit command "i" or control "i" to make sure the frame rate is correct.

try those and get back to us.
