integrating animated character into a live shot.
by malcolm DeSoto on May 31, 2009 at 1:06:51 am

So, I've got this nice little animated dude tracked into my live footage. Everything's looking pretty good. However, there's this part where he walks in front of the window and it just doesn't look as real as it could. I kind of want the light to "spill" over his head and shoulders.

You see it in movies all the time where the light kind of eats away part of the foreground object.

Know what I'm talking about?

Any good tutorials out there that could help me with this?

thanks.
