True. But if you want to work efficiently in AE, you'd better get used to the concept of storing one image sequence per folder.

All I know is that big broadcast design outfits -- who have access to Smokes, Flames, Infernos and all the highly-expensive pieces of hardware -- have standardized on this method of image sequence storage. If they've found it useful, I think I might, too. It's certainly more useful than demanding that a piece of software be developed to compensate for my lack of organizational skills.
