Freeze Frames in AE
by Tim Scarpino on Mar 20, 2009 at 2:10:14 pm

Greetings all,

Creating a complex comp and heres what I need.

Comp is 1:00 minute in length. I'm using a video clip in a layer that needs to be that length. Catch is, the video clip is only :09 seconds in actual length. The clips is only used AS video from :10 seconds -:20 seconds in the actual comp. It can be a still for the first 10 seconds and a still for the last 40 seconds.

My question, can a create a "still" from the first and last frames of the video clip, then extend those stills to the front and back of the clip?

Of simply, how do I create a still from from a video clip in AE?

Thanks for considering!

Tim
