CC_SeriousFX DVD
by Adam Mercado on Mar 5, 2009 at 8:48:58 am

I purchased this DVD many months ago, and am just now getting to play it.

Wasted an entire evening trying to play this disc. The playback is so utterly poor it is unwatchable. I get half way through the first chapter and the playback stutters and freezes and loses sync (audio/video)

I have an 8-core MacPro with 8GB RAM. This machine should be up to playing some flash video.

I even tried copying the files to my local disc, as the DVD was apparently struggling to keep up. But no better there either. If the sneaky CC folks had not made the FLVs hidden maybe I could attempt to play them in VLC or something. I cant figure out where the actual media files are to playback outside of the bogus flash environment.

Anyone else have similar issues? Any ideas how to hack this disk to get at the media files?

Looked around for a customer support number but have not found one yet. I doubt i'll be wasting any more money on bogus CC training crud.

cheers
