Okay, so I went ahead and did it my way and it took like 5min. Still, that should be some sort of layer switch, provided I'm not overlooking it. Add that to the long list of improvements the AE team will probably "get to" around release, oh, I don't know ...13?

P.S. Lousy weather and deadlines make Mousel bitchy.
