Do you want the text to have depth? Or just rotate around like
this:
If it is just that you can use the 3D text preset called
3D rotate around circle. Then precomp the earth layer so it can be 3D and interact with the 3D text. After that you can also create a light on the scene and cast shadows from the text over the planet.
If you want the text to be extruded than I´m trying to find that out around here. Zax can probably do it.
