You may have the Draft 3D composition switch enabled. If it is then make sure that you turn that off. You can find information on this in the help.

If that's not the issue then we may need to see a screenshot of your timeline with the light options and one 3D layer's material options revealed (double tap 'aa' to reveal these properties).
