glossy reflections

Hi guys.
I'm working on a file in 3DS MAX with lots of glossy reflections which gives me massive rendering times. Is there a effect(s) in After effects to make the reflections glossy (like frosted glass)?
I tried gaussian blur but it'n not the same. I'm using CS3.
