I agree with Roland's explanation....however, if you do not want to delete keyframes, then you should select the keyframes, right click on one of them and then go to keyframe interpolation. Now change the spatial interpolation to linear...it is probably set to bezier, which means that it creates a curve by looking at your 3 keyframes and interpolating.
As Roland suggested, try to pick up some reading or a DVD to better understand these concepts.
