creating star trek spaceship light trail

I have about a hundred pictures set in 3d space in different positions - i would like to have the pictures shoot in to a window like going in to hyper-space like star trek or star gate one at a time leaving a slight light trail.

Ideas anyone ....

the real fun begins when the program loads
running FCS & CS3 MS side by side on the Mac
