HD rendering change whats the deal?

I just started working with HD footage in side CS3 from AF to PPro3 when I completed a text effect in AE while using a HD background then I render it (30 sec) it becomes smaller than screen size, what am I doing wrong? Then I Link the AE project into PPro and Let it render from there- same thing. What’s going on? Why is the video shrinking after rendering? I should not have to stretch it out should I?
the real fun begins when the program loads
running FCS & CS3 MS side by side on the Mac
