Thanks a lot for the answer, but I imported my footage with iMovie from a Sony HDR-SR11 and I'm quite sure the codec of the imported shots is Apple Intermediate Codec. However I'm now rendering with Render Queue and the problem seems to be solved.
Other two questions I hope someone will answer :)
What's the best codec for editing in After Effects or for general video editing?
Is there a way to convert without loss of quality a shot from interlaced to progressive?
