I'm with Joey. Record your stuff to tape, fast forward the tape, capture the fast forward.
this is the ONLY way you will get believable artifacts caused by head switching, image fracturing, noise. Anything you do in AE will look like a simulation, That may work but it is instantly identifiable as a faked effect.
