Importing issues

Every time i try to import a sequence from premiere and place it into the timeline i get an error message stating the following:
After Effects error: overflow converting ratio denominators.
( 17 :: 18 )
does anybody have a clue as to what is going on? i've made sure my comps and footage where set at the right frame size, footage speed, etc. whether i double click to import an edited sequence or drag and drop for a solid sequence its all the same.
Thanks in advance :)
