selection tool shortcut question

Does anybody out there know of a keyboard shortcut to return to the Selection Tool pointer when you are in text tool mode.

I realize usually hitting V on the keyboard will do the job, but not while in text mode... that just add's a V to your text.

I know in Corel Draw I can hit Ctrl-Spacebar to go from text editing to the selection tool, so I thought AE might have a similar option. I get frustrated every time I have to use my mouse to get out of text mode... finally decided I would post this question.
