Im going to try to change the graphics card, I have a 7300GT that lays around here somewhere, but Im still going to need to have the 8800GT compatible with AFX, since Im gaiming, and the 7300GT is not a permanent option.. I found out that if I remove the After Effects prefrences files in the application data folder, so all settings are default, it lasts 1 second longer before it freezes, don't know if it's to any help, but it might do something..
