I had this problem with Trapcode plugz in Leopard. I managed to fix this with help from a Cow post (sorry I can't point you directly to it) but basically it said to move the trapcode plugz folder to a different location. Apparently the 'mediacore' folder is where Trapcode likes to live in Leopard. Here's where mine is...
library/applicationsupport/adobe/common/plugins/CS3/mediacore/
