We have one edit station that did the QT 7.4 upgrade and we are experiencing the same reported problems - we have tried to un-install 7.4 and re-install QT 7.3 but we keep getting a red flag on the re-install saying that the hard drive has a newer version installed, even when we have trashed everything QT. We think that the install is seeing QT components tied to the Pro App's bundle.
We are now going to try re-installing FCP and see how that goes.

Anyone know a better way?
