RENDERING ISSUES

Whats up guys and gals. I'm having a hell of a time trying to render my animated clip as 16:9 . I've tried everything...and the only thing that exports as 16:9 is when i change the composite settings to "HDV/HDTV 720" option. I'm making this intro and then importing it and further editing in Vegas. Well when i import anything besides a "HDV/HDTV 720" clip in Vegas, they are smashed down to 3:4. Could someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance!!
1.yes i am using the "render queue"
2.yes i have tried the DV Widescreen Composite Settings
3. Thanks Again!!
P.S....when i render a DV Widescreen Clip, After Effects is the only program that reads it as a "WideScreen 16:9" clip! agggghh!
