It's my understanding that Windows can only address RAM above 3GB if you have XP-64 or Vista-64 bit installed. I could not get Windows to boot with 4 GB installed. Adobe Tech Support specifically does NOT recommend XP 64 bit for use with CS 3, I called them and asked. I don't know about Vista (cough*BUGGY RESOURCE HOG*cough.

I have XP 32 bit with 3 gb of RAM - so is CS3 AE not using that extra GB of memory?

If not, I'll tag myself onto this post and say "how can I get AE CS3 to use ALL my RAM?"
