Poltergeist house implosion in AE?...
by kaylamaureen on Nov 2, 2007 at 7:41:39 pm

We're working on an effect similar to the one used in Poltergeist to make the house implode. Now granted, we're testing out proactical fx right now with models and whatnot, but does anyone have any suggestions on how one might do this in After Effects.

We need to make a rectangular household appliance implode (like a TV or a microwave). I'm about to take a look at the Shapoe Extruder video tutorial to see if it might be of some help, but I'd love to hear anyone else's ideas of a back up method in case our practical's don't work or just to enhance the practicals.
