morphing advice

AE experts!
Going to start a project that will require a few basic morphing moves (still image to still image likely).
can any of you recommend plugins? I might very well just do it like the cow tutorial utilizing dual masking and shape effects. But are there any inexpensive plugins you can recommend. I can tell you now, forget about $300-800 ones like 'Re-Flick' (think that's what it's called). looking for more basic simple ones if there are any out there.
thanks in advance!
Rick
