Mirroring footage
by JHenry on Oct 4, 2007 at 3:07:56 pm

Hi All,

Just come against a bit of a problem here... I have worked out a work around, but it's a bit time consuming and I was wondering if there is an easier way to do it...

Basically I have some keyed HD footage, which I have a mirror effect going on... I'm trying to rotate this layer midway through the movie and have the rotate follow... however the mirror effect won't go out of the layer boundary (therefore not giving the 'correct' reflection)... Is there a way around this?

My only thoughts were to render all the movement as a seperate comp, then import this to a new comp and apply the mirror to this?!

Hopefully thats kind of clear, if not I'll update with some images in a bit!
