Concave Video wall (Like Apple TV)
by JHenry on Jul 19, 2007 at 4:01:26 pm

Hey All,

Im trying to emulate the look of the 'concave video wall' from the Apple TV startup movie (linked

) specifically the section at about 0:02-0:03. I know how to do the zooming of the individual elements, but the actual bending of the wall in 3D space (I'm actually trying to create it with one large image rather than lots of smaller images) is perplexing me!!! I've tried Bezier handles, displacement maps and the like but they only give me 2D approximations of the effect.

Any idea how to actually bend a shape to concave in after effects? Is this even possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
