Best way to create 3d text?
by tommmm on Jul 13, 2007 at 9:51:24 pm

I'm trying to get 3d text that has field of depth 3d movement. Just changing the Y axis on flat text doesn't do the job. Whats the best way to create true 3d text, so that when I change the Y axis it shows its true 3d depth? Aside from programs like 3dsm. Are there basic 3d text programs or plugins? It will be overlayed on top of video so transparent BG is a must. Or is there a trick to simulating 3d text within AE?

Thanks
