Also, something very interesting I just found out and should note is that no matter what I do, I cannot get Windows to successfully associate AE CS3 with the .aep file type.
I keep getting errors saying that the "whichever_one_i_try.aep is not a valid Win32 application"

Whoa. What's this all about?
