is it smart to upgrade to xp pro 64bit

Hi there!

quick question! I'm now running xp Pro 32 bit. But i want more internal memory. Going up to 4 gig! Is it better for me to upgrade to the 64Bit version? And will there be no problems with my installation of after effects or other adobe program's i have?

Does anyone know the real advantage of xp 64bit to xp 32 Bit?
