I'm not at a TV station. I produce educational/sales videos about the wineries (worldwide) that my company distributes. The maps aren't the bulk of the video (although I try to have a map for each winery), rather they're used as b-roll when the winemaker/owner is talking about the area. I thought about using CWM but in the stills version only and then try to animate them with zooms/dissolves...but I don't know if they're vector-based...it could be just like zooming in on Google Earth or something where the resolution goes bad after too much zooming. I'd go for the Google Earth Pro (~$600) but I don't think the resolution is broadcast-quality...and the images (where available) are a couple years old at best.
I appreciate the above comments and welcome more ideas.
Thanks, all.
Jonathan
