I recall that there was a hiccup with the trial instalation with regards to its cability for being upgradable to a serialised version. While the initial intent was to allow for trials to be 'upgraded' to a full version via inputting a serial number, that didn't materialse when the product was shipped.
Your best bet is to either uninstall the trial version and/or install the serialised (boxed) version, into another folder, once that arrives.
