AE7 Trial asks for serial number.. Where can I get one?

Hi!

I've placed my order with Adobe to upgrade from AE 6.5 Pro to AE 7 Pro, but in the meantime I thought I'd try out the AE 7 downloadable trial version. On installation it gives me the option to install the full version if I have a serial number. Well I just paid for the upgrade from Adobe but the folks at Adobe Customer support here in Australia tell me it won't ship until late February and have no idea where I can get such a serial number from.

It would seem to me you must be able to get your new serial number from Adobe somehow before you actually receive the shipped product otherwise why put the option in the trial version installer!?

Any ideas how I can get my new serial number? I presume this is what the installer is asking for...

I just thought things might be a little clearer closer to Adobe Central in the good 'ol U.S. of A...
