Quick Time 7.0.4 Conflicts with AE 6.5.1

Anyone else having issues with these two pieces of software? Right after I upgraded to QT 7 Pro my AE decided to shutdown when I tried importing footage. I uninstall QT all together and AE runs beautifully again...reinstall QT...back to the same problems.
Sound familiar to anyone?
