How do i achieve a fake "Stop-Motion" Effect ?

Hi!
i want to manipulate the framerate of a clip in order to get a surreal almost "stop-motion"-like movement of the actor. how do i achieve that ? when i change the framerate of the composition..the motion of the clip still remains normal :(
