Tarek,

I am not going to answer your question. You have been given the names of the companies that make turnkey 10Gig solutions. there are also companies (like Facilis that make wonderful (more expensive) Fibre channel solutions. You have been given an overview of how this works. This is what is going to happen next. You are going to contact some or all of these companies. You will ultimately buy one of these solutions, and you will have exactly what you want. Here is what is not going to happen. No one here is going to tell you in detail how to build this from parts you order on the internet.

When you speak to a vendor, it is important to say "this is our application - we use (for example) AVID, FCP, Adobe, Autodesk, Assimilate, etc. etc. The vendor will be able to identify what you actually need, and will be able to give you a cost effective solution. So far, you have stated your bandwidth requirement, but you have never said (for example) "we need this solution for doing uncompressed Adobe After Effects". WHAT IS YOUR APPLICATION ?

All of these companies are easy to find using google.

Bob Zelin
