Still I would like to know what the bottleneck is for the QNAP 1279 with the 10GbE card. Currently we are editing with Firewire 800. This is about 75 MB/s and it works just fine for us. The only thing we want is to work together from one shared storage solution with 2/3 computers. So if we are able to work with 3 computers on the QNAP, with a rate of 75 MB/s per computer we will be satisfied. But I don't know anyone who uses this new product, so I just want to know if this fits our situation.
