I think Steve's got the right idea. This is probably an example of Mac OS getting a little confused.
First, confirm that you really don't have two volumes with the same name! You probably don't, but it's worth asking.
If a reboot does not resolve the issue, please see the steps below:
1. Make sure that all SAN volumes are unmounted.
2. Repair Permissions.
3. From the Finder pull down the Go menu and choose Go To Folder (or use shift-apple-G shortcut). Type /Volumes/ and click the Go button to open the /Volumes folder.
4. The volumes folder contains an alias for all the volumes mounted. I suspect that you'll see is an old alias for your volume that for some reason did not get removed when it should have been. Since this alias already exists, OS X appends the "-1" to the volume name the next time a volume with the same name is mounted.
5. Since you have no SAN volumes mounted (re: step 1), you can safely trash the incorrect alias from the /Volumes folder.
6. Reboot, check the /Volumes folder to make sure the old alias is indeed gone, then mount your volume in SANmp Client to test that your links are correct in Final Cut.
If this fails to resolve the issue, you can open a support case with SNS by sending an email to support@studionetworksolutions.com
